Ambassadors:
Would you like to have the opportunity to expand your client base while volunteering for an organization that creates a climate for your business to be successful?

Chamber Ambassadors are a key group of Chamber volunteers. Through member interaction on calls, visits, and at Chamber events, Ambassadors provide member service assistance by reinforcing the benefits of Chamber membership, increasing the members’ knowledge of the Roanoke Regional Chamber, soliciting members’ input on Chamber programs, and opening more channels of communication between Chamber leadership and members.

Becoming an Ambassador, allows you to create contacts in the business community, open the door for you to do business in the Roanoke Region, network with fellow Ambassadors, support the Chamber’s mission, and enjoy volunteering for the Chamber.

Ambassadors hold their monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of every month at 4 PM. Ambassadors are asked to attend a minimum of nine monthly meetings and make a minimum of three visits or six calls to Chamber members each month. The Ambassador of the Year is awarded at the Chamber’s annual meeting. Quarterly incentives are also given for you and your company.

If you are interested in becoming an Ambassador, contact Cally Smith , vice president of membership and branding strategy, at 983.0700 x105.
