In the 2017 General Assembly session, the Roanoke Regional Chamber championed legislation, sponsored by Del. Head, supporting a career and technical education (CTE) study, with the goal of establishing a regional CTE governor’s school.
Toward that end, Virginia Western Community College recently issued a survey to assess workforce needs within the Roanoke Valley. The results will provide valuable insight and allow leaders to implement strategies to best equip students and workers with skills to meet your business needs.
Business leaders and/or human resources personnel are encouraged to participate in the survey so we can better understand your business’ workforce needs and where gaps exist. The questions are primarily focused on positions that require less than a four-year degree.
Please take 10-15 worthwhile minutes to complete this important survey and help us help your workforce needs.
