Interactive Design Group announces the acquisition of Rife & Wood Architects, leaders in the secondary education and historic preservation sectors. Richard Rife joins Interactive Design Group as a senior project manager/architect.

Interactive Design Group (IDG) is pleased to announce that Richard Rife has joined the IDG team. This addition bolsters the IDG position in the secondary education and historic preservation markets.

A Roanoke native, Richard graduated from Northside High School and the University of Virginia. Prior to joining IDG, Richard was Managing Principal at Rife + Wood Architects, which he founded in 1992.  At Rife + Wood, he directed the design of numerous landmark buildings including Patrick Henry High School and stadium, William Fleming High School and stadium, Lucy Addison Middle School, Woodrow Wilson Middle School, Breckinridge Middle School, the Vinton War Memorial, Fitzpatrick Hall at the Jefferson Center, the Kirk YMCA, the Gainsboro YMCA, and the Grandin Theatre.
